About The Author

Shon has been with Golden Eagle Log and Timber Homes for over twenty years. He wears many hats here at Golden Eagle. One of which is IT Manager. Shon oversees Golden Eagle's technology goals and leverages those technologies to help make our staff's working environment both efficient and enjoyable. Networking, Web Design, Database Design, and Graphic Design as all in his wheelhouse. Shon jokes that if something has a power plug or uses batteries, he probably is in charge of it.

Golden Eagle makes use of many of today's top technologies to better connect our customers to our staff. We use some of the top engineering (CAD) software and 3D rendering software to design and visualize our Log Homes and Timber Homes. All this technology requires top of the line networking and file storage capabilities as well as secure backup technologies that are both connected and air gapped.

Shon has been a tech enthusiast since a very young age. When he was in 6th grade, he designed a report card system for his grade school. The only thing he ever wanted for Christmas or birthdays as a kid, was the next computer, hard drive, and other tech hardware. He is that same big kid today, still collecting and experimenting with the latest gadgets.
