Main Level of the Large Timber Frame Home Floor Plan
- Great Room: The tour of this large house design begins in the great room. This space is grand with a towering feature wall of windows that overlooks the wooded area and water. Natural light floods this space. A massive stone fireplace with a 13-foot-wide chaise climbs 18 feet tall, showcasing the scale of this room. A vaulted ceiling creates an open and airy feeling in this space. Hand-hewn timbers add a nice contrast to the drywall and stone. The open floor concept carries into the kitchen.
- Kitchen: The modern kitchen layout was built with entertaining in mind. A 16 and a half foot island with seating for seven is in the center of the kitchen. The island features a sink, making food prep effortless. This gourmet kitchen has high-end appliances like a 48-inch WOLF gas stove top and oven, and two matching stainless steel refrigerators. Frameless cabinetry adds to the overall modern aesthetic of this luxury house design. Under-cabinet lighting was also incorporated into this space.
- Dining Room: The kitchen naturally flows into the dining area. This space is enclosed by folding glass doors, which allow for privacy when closed. When open, the space connects to the outdoors. Overhead, a brick-pattern barrel vaulted ceiling adds to the character of this large timber frame home.
- Four Seasons Room: Adjacent to the dining room, you'll find the Four Seasons Room set within a turret. This unique space features a wood and gas stone fireplace with a rounded hearth and arched chaise. Large windows allow light to filter through into this space, and a dramatic chandelier adds to the ambiance in the evening. Glass partitions tie the Four Seasons Room back into the rest of the home.
- Laundry room: Another turret houses the first-floor laundry room. Curved cabinetry lines the walls, and there is plenty of counter space for folding clothes. Hexagonal tile flooring with a unique pattern and cool tones complements the walls.
- Pantry: A full walk-in pantry with plenty of storage for food and small appliances is located near the laundry room.
- Dog Washing Station: Off the laundry room is a utility space with a dog washing station, perfect for families with pets.
- Game Room and Sitting Area: This wing of the large timber frame home opens up into a sitting area with generous bench seating. This space makes the perfect game room.
