Here at Golden Eagle Log and Timber Homes, we have had the privilege of designing and building custom homes across North America, from the sun-soaked landscapes of Florida to the rugged beauty of Alaska. Recently, a client came to us with a clear and deeply personal vision for their new home. This wasn't just about square footage or architectural style; it was about creating a healthier way of life. Like many families today, they were ready to move away from the crowded, fast-paced environment of suburban living. Tight spaces, busy streets, and constant noise no longer aligned with how they wanted to live. Instead, they dreamed of wide-open acreage, fresh air, and a home that supported both physical and mental well-being.

For this particular client, Maharishi Vastu wasn't just a design choice, it was a reflection of their lifestyle and heritage. The challenge, and opportunity, was to integrate these traditional Vastu requirements into a luxury timber-style home without compromise.
